Blood Beneath the Pines is a suspense novel set mostly in the Deep South.
Chloe Parker grew up on a working cattle ranch in Snow Valley, Wyoming. But, she never felt at home. An unexpected opportunity came for Chloe to meet relatives in the South. And, she knew it was time to go.
She quickly accepts her grandmother’s love. Chloe hopes it will fill the void left in her heart from her mother’s death. The grandmother draws Chloe into a forty-year-old cold case of the grandfather she never met. Without her help, her frail grandmother will not be able to prove what really happened in the dark woods of Mississippi.
Chloe stirs long-buried secrets and comes face-to-face with a killer who has walked the woods freely since the death of her grandfather. A killer who has no intentions of allowing a petite Wyoming native to destroy his way of life.
As the woods yield what’s been guarded for decades, unimaginable secrets surface at an abandoned homestead.
Can Chloe find justice for the spilled blood of her grandfather before a killer goes free forever?
Tammy Partlow writes stories of “Prevailing Justice, undressing the wolves and exposing the truths.”
